Managing Director

Norol Aizam Bin Md Noor is a highly experienced engineering and project management professional with more than 20 years of expertise in the power and energy sector, particularly in hydroelectric development. Armed with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA, he has consistenly demonstrated leadership in delivering complex EPCC (Engineering, Procument, Construction, and Commissioning) projects. His skill set spans strategic planning, project execution, authority liaison, and contractor coordination, all underpinned by a deep technical foundation and a result-driven approach.

His portfolio in hydroelectric power projects is extensive and impactful. Notably, As the Head of PMT for the 5.1MW Sungai Batang Kali Project, where his expertise in M&E installation and project integration played a key role in timely and quality delivery. He also successfully directed the 10MW Sungai Brooek project in Gua Musang under the C&S Package under SREP programme. He also involved in the tender exercise for 9MW Sungai Selama Hydropower Plant and the 14MW Sungai Kerian Hydropower Plant in Perak, Norol ensured alignment with regulatory standards optimized cost and resource usage, and delivered the plants with high operational efficiency.

In addition to local hydro initiatives, Norol contributed to international development through the propsed 20MW Sungai Krueng ISEP Mini Hydro Project in Aceh, where he was involved in the tendering and technical proposal phase. His contributions to the 15MW Hulu Terengganu (Tembat Station) project for TNB further showcase his ability to oversee the installation of major hydro components such as turbines, generators, control systems, and transformers, alojg with associated fire protection and electrical panels.

Outside of hydropower, Norol has played crucial roles in other major energy projects including the Jimat East Power 2x1000MW Coal-Fired Plant and Petronas' RAPID 33/11kV Substation Project. His responsibilites included high-voltage equipment installation, testing, and commissioning, where he ensured the projecets adhered to safety standards and were executed within critical timelines. He alos engaged in risk mitigation, construction stategy planning, and client coordination at all levels.

With a strong background in both technical execution and strategic project management, Norol Aizam stands out as a leader in renewable energy infrastructure. His career has been defined by his contributions to Malaysia's Hydropower capacity, making him a key figure in driving sustainable and efficient energy develepment across the region.
